Hosted in Michaela Casková’s exhibition The Company We Keep, The Cup We Share at Maa-Tila gallery in Helsinki.

This project was part of the publishing project Ei Mainoksia, Kiitos!

The Junk Mail Series Issue #1 launch resulted in a postcard publication with a photo of an Edible Landscape and a text by artist Naya Magaliou, in which identity was explored through memories of cake.

The cake was inspired by the aesthetics of junk mail: a chaotic mountain of layers of different flavors and colors decorated with a diversity of candied matter and textures.
Vanilla cake, matcha and black sesame mascarpone whipped cream, strawberry balsamic vinegar jam, and cream cheese buttercream decorated with candied orange, lemon and fennel, along with dried fruits and poppyseed candy.

Publication in collaboration with EiM,K! and Naya Magaliou.

Layers inspired by the aesthetics of “junk mail”— piles of colors stacked and chaotic information to be shared.
