Today the Sun Finally Came Out is a collage crafted from summer memories, a diary that layers photos, flavors, and feelings, while navigating concepts of ephemerality. This collage includes foraged plants and plants grown by the artist. During the performance, a temporary space was created by coming together and queuing for a piece of cake. The Merihaka courtyard transformed into a space for sharing more than cake when, unexpectedly, an old person shared their life story with strangers.
